School Committee Seat Information Sessions
The School Committee is holding information sessions over the next few weeks for those in the community that might be interested in more information on the role of a School Committee member. There are 3 SC seats open in the coming election in May. These sessions are informal gatherings; the first two are coffees.
Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2:00-3:30 at Boston Bean with Mary and Maro
Wednesday, Feb. 26, 6:00-7:30 at Fowler School, Central Office Conference Room with Bethlyn and Maro
If none of these dates and times work, please contact Maro (mhogan@maynard.k12.ma.us) to set up another time.

Preschool information night will be held on Thursday, January 23 at 6:30 PM at Green Meadow School. Classroom teachers will share information about our high quality, engaging, and nurturing preschool program. Submit applications that evening or in the main office at any time.

Children who will be 5 years old as of September 1, 2020 are eligible to attend kindergarten for the 2020-2021 school year.
This year’s kindergarten registration will take place on:
⦁ Wednesday, January 15 from 9-12
⦁ Wednesday January 15 from 5-7 PM
⦁ Thursday, January 16 from 9-12
Registration will take place at Green Meadow Elementary School.
Registration materials are available on line or in the school office at any time. In addition to the registration materials, you will need to provide a birth certificate and proof of residence. We are happy to make copies of any materials for you at the time of registration. A kindergarten orientation will be held in the spring. During this time, parents the teaching staff will provide parents with information about the engaging curriculum and the enriching kindergarten experience.
There will be a special School Committee meeting on Wed, Jan 15th at 6pm to deliberate on the two superintendent candidates.
The regular School committee meeting will still be held on Thus, Jan 16th at 7pm
