Victor will review the transition process and key transition milestones individuals and families need to be aware of. A review of DDS supports that are available to help youth and families develop a vision including how to access them. The audience will understand the DDS
traditional & non-traditional service options for both transition age youth and adults. Presentation will also explore the DDS resources that can help youth and families plan for the future.

Victor currently holds the position of Deputy Assistant Commissioner for the
Department of Developmental Services (DDS), the largest state agency in the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Responsibilities include:
- DDS Statewide coordinator for MA Ch 688, the state law governing the transition
services for those leaving special education
- Commissioner’s liaison for special projects with the DDS 4 regions and 23 area offices.
Victor holds a Master’s Degree in Administrative Education from Harvard
University and has also served as the DDS Assistant Area Director for the
Merrimack Valley Area Office
(Lawrence/Haverhill/Newburyport). He also had administrative roles in schools and agencies for multi-handicapped individuals in California and Massachusetts.
