We are inviting families of all incoming Kindergarten students to a Zoom virtual meeting on Monday, Jul 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM to talk about plans to open school in the fall.
Maynard Public Schools is committed to providing a safe learning environment for all of our students and staff. We have examined the guidance provided by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and are currently working on creating the three required plans: In-Person Learning with Safety Requirements, Remote Learning, and Hybrid Learning. Part of the process involves seeking input from parents regarding their comfort level with sending their student(s) back to school this Fall. We anticipate providing remote only instruction throughout the academic year while also providing in-person instruction with safety precautions for those who are able to attend. You will be able to find more details about the district’s current thinking about these plans and pictures of potential classroom layouts can be seen here.
During Monday’s meeting, you will have the opportunity to ask questions you may have. We hope you will be able to attend.
