On Monday, May 18th, Maynard students, along with students from Littleton, Bedford, Harvard, Sudbury, and Case Collaborative, participated in the Special Olympics.
Students participated in a variety of games and activities, including basketball shooting, 30-, 40-, and 50-yard dashes, 100-meter relay, long toss, tee-ball hitting challenge, shuttle run relay, a variation of soccer, cornhole toss, and bowling.
During the Day of Games, students are supported by staff and Unified Partners, student volunteers who are selected by school staff based on their demonstration of kindness.
