Director message  2021

Dear parents and guardians,

One of my main goals as Director of Student Services is to make sure your children receive their IEP services in a safe and supportive environment. Given the pandemic, service delivery will look different than in a traditional school year. However, I assure you that the student services staff will work, in collaboration with you, to provide an appropriate education.

Hank Aaron (1934-2021), Baseball All-Star, stated that " ....a man’s ability is limited only by his lack of opportunity."  I am fortunate to be working with a very dedicated team of students, parents, teachers, administrators, related service providers and professional staff committed to improving opportunities and outcomes for all students. I invite all of you to join this dedicated team as we work through a challenging year. Thank you for your continued support of the Maynard Public Schools.

Jeff Ferranti - Director of Student Services

Welcome to the Student Services Web page

The Student Services Department coordinates with building Principals in many aspects of student life including: special education, nursing, school counseling (SEL), English language/multilingual education (ELL/MEL), screening, child find and related service delivery.

All students must be considered general education students first with full access to all services, events, activities etc.

Our highly qualified staff set high standards for all of our students. We provide a broad continuum of services that allows all students to receive instruction and access services within the least restrictive environment (LRE).
